Could VIQU be the Recruitment Company of the Year?
Here at VIQU, we’re excited to announce that we have been shortlisted for APSCo’s ‘Recruitment Company of the Year: £3 million – £10 million turnover’ award!
As an active member of APSCo and winner of the ‘Client Initiative of the Year’ award in 2017 for our Tier 2 Worker Program, it is an honour to see VIQU being acknowledged once again.
Now, this is the point where you might be thinking that our board applied for the award, after all, this is a normal procedure for awards applications. Awards panels generally hear from the board or individual business owners who can talk about how fantastic their company is.
Here’s where we differ.
We believe that it should be our colleagues, clients and candidates who say how brilliant the company is. For us, it’s important that our team hold the same level of passion as our board members. Therefore, when it came to writing the application, our board of directors were not invited to contribute.
The application covered an array of topics, but there are three areas that we were particularly proud to mention in our application. These included:
1) Mental health awareness
2) Compliance
3) Learning and development investment
Over the next couple of weeks, we will be sharing an insight into each of these areas from Lauren, Gary and Bobby – the three people who are key to these areas and wrote our APSCo awards application together.
