VIQU have partnered with a leading automotive organisation looking to expand their security team. As a Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding cloud architecture, implementing security best practices, and providing actionable solutions to evolving security challenges.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in cloud security, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Job Duties of the Security Engineer:

Ensure the security and integrity of cloud architecture by implementing best practices.

Identify and respond to security threats, providing actionable solutions.

Work collaboratively within a team while also being proactive in independent problem-solving.

Adapt to changing security landscapes and emerging threats.

Communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Requirements of the Security Engineer:

Knowledge of AWS, Terraform and Cloud Security.

Knowledge of system, technology and product life cycles.

To understand networking architecture.

Experience working with security frameworks E.G. ISO 270001, CIS, etc.

Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.
- Be able to troubleshoot and propose clear technical solutions.
