VIQU have partnered with a leading automotive organisation looking to expand their security team. As a Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding cloud architecture, implementing security best practices, and providing actionable solutions to evolving security challenges.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in cloud security, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Duties of the Security Engineer:

• Ensure the security and integrity of cloud architecture by implementing best practices.

• Identify and respond to security threats, providing actionable solutions.

• Work collaboratively within a team while also being proactive in independent problem-solving.

• Adapt to changing security landscapes and emerging threats.

• Communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Requirements of the Security Engineer:

• Knowledge of AWS, Terraform and Cloud Security.

• Knowledge of system, technology and product life cycles.

• To understand networking architecture.

• Experience working with security frameworks E.G. ISO 270001, CIS, etc.

• Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.

• Be able to troubleshoot and propose clear technical solutions.
