Quality Engineer
Nuclear Quality Engineer – 6-Month Contract – Onsite – Reading – SC Cleared - Outside IR35
VIQU have partnered with a leading organisation within the nuclear sector, seeking a Quality Engineer to support critical projects on a contract basis.
The Role:
The successful Nuclear Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with stringent quality assurance standards, working across nuclear projects to maintain traceability and adherence to customer requirements. This role involves QA inspections, documentation review, supplier audits, and liaising with key stakeholders to uphold the highest standards.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in the nuclear industry within a Quality Assurance role.
- Strong understanding of QA systems, lifetime quality records, and compliance documentation.
- Hands-on experience with the inspection of electrical control panels.
- Ability to develop and maintain Manufacturing Inspection Test Plans.
- Experience conducting internal and supplier audits.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients, inspectors, and project teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under strict quality standards.
- Must be eligible for SC Clearance or preferably hold valid SC Clearance
