Project Manager
Project Manager – 3-month contract - Outside of IR35
My Customer is looking to hire a highly skilled and experienced Divestment focussed Project Manager to manage multiple complex large-scale projects simultaneously. It is important that the Project Manager has recently worked within Divestment projects where there is a lot of work done around separation especially within data.
The Project Manager would ideally have experience in divestments, separations and have capability in handling very fast paced, multi complex projects with competing demands when working in very tight and challenging deadlines.
Primary day to day responsibilities for the Project Manager will include:
- Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple large restructuring and divestment projects. Ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Infrastructure and Data Migration: Historic Data Separation, Application analysis, Segregating Infrastructure from standalone company, Data separation and migration is very important.
- Coordinate the 3rd Party doing the data analysis and data discovery.
- Driving deadlines and ensuring projects are being delivered at acceptable timelines.
- Ideally an assertive individual that is confident in leading complex transformation projects.
- Business Restructuring (Divestment): Lead and support organizational change initiatives such as mergers, demergers, private equity transitions, and streamlining of business operations.
- Business Transformation: Spearhead projects related to divestments, demergers, and business restructuring, ensuring efficient separation or realignment of business units while minimizing disruption
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the key point of contact for senior leadership, investors, and stakeholders, clearly communicating project goals, challenges, and outcomes related to restructuring activities.
- Change Management: Ensure effective change management strategies are in place to support staff and teams through periods of transition, helping the business adapt to new structures, ownership, and operational models.
The Project Manager would be remote with ad hoc visits to Birmingham.
