Network Engineer

Network Engineer – 3-month contract – London – Outside of IR35

My customer is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support a Wi-Fi and connectivity project, focusing on resolving intermittent connectivity issues affecting VoIP/wireless communication devices.

This role requires strong troubleshooting and testing expertise to identify root causes and implement solutions that enhance wireless network performance and reliability. You will work with Cisco networking, UC/VoIP, ACI, Fabric, and Software-Defined Access (SDA) to optimize connectivity across the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot intermittent Wi-Fi and connectivity issues affecting VoIP communication devices.
• Conduct in-depth analysis and testing to diagnose and resolve network performance issues.
• Work closely with staff and IT teams to understand real-world challenges and develop practical solutions.
• Optimize wireless network configurations to ensure seamless and reliable connectivity.
• Support Cisco UC/VoIP technologies and integrate them with existing network infrastructure.
• Work within Cisco ACI, Fabric, and SDA environments to enhance network efficiency.
• Provide detailed documentation of issues, solutions, and best practices.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong background in network troubleshooting and performance testing.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, including Wi-Fi and VoIP solutions.
• Expertise in UC/VoIP environments, particularly with medical communication systems
• Experience with ACI, Fabric, and Software-Defined Access (SDA) technologies.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve intermittent connectivity issues in complex network environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Outside of IR35

The Network Engineer is required full time onsite in London for the duration of the contract.
