IT Manager – Essex – On-site – up to £65,000 + Company Car

VIQU have partnered with a well-established automotive group seeking an experienced IT Manager to take ownership of their IT landscape, manage vendor relationships, and drive technological efficiency within the business.

The role will be based in Essex and will require 5 days a week on-site.

Key Requirements for the IT Manager:

• Experience managing IT functions within a small to mid-sized business.
• Strong vendor management experience, particularly with outsourced IT services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and business application optimisation.
• Working knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work across various business functions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and enforce best practices across the business.

Key Responsibilities for the IT Manager:

• Manage external IT vendors, ensuring services meet business needs.
• Assess and improve IT systems, applications, and processes.
• Optimise the use of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
• Lead efforts to improve cyber security.
• Develop and enforce IT best practices across the organisation.
• Provide hands-on IT support when necessary.
