IT Coordinator - £30,000 – £36,000 – Birmingham - 3 days a week onsite
VIQU have partnered with a leading company in their niche who are seeking an ambitious IT Coordinator to join their team. The IT Coordinator will engage IT partners of the business, helping to manage incident responses, organise IT equipment delivery, refine processes and coordinate IT engineers. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, holding in depth knowledge of IT systems and equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to progress their IT career further as the company prefers to promote from within.
Key duties of the IT Coordinator:
- Manage hardware and software requests
- Coordinate the distribution of IT tickets to relevant teams
- Distribution of equipment and accounts for new starters
- Communicating with suppliers, ensuring positive relationships
- Arranging engineers to attend national sites
- Refining processes and keeping up to date documentation
Qualities needed of the IT Coordinator:
- Must be a highly organised individual, capable of managing multiple workflows at once
- Previous experience distributing IT equipment and organising IT engineers
- Experience with keeping up to date documentation
- Previously worked in an IT department
- Strong communication skills
- A background supporting IT issues on a helpdesk is a bonus!
