Deskside Support Engineer

Deskside Support Engineer required on an initial 12-month contract supporting an end client based in Cambridge.

The successful Deskside Support Engineer will be working onsite providing real-time IT support to End Users across the company. Tasked with working across a broad range of technologies and liaising across multiple areas of the business to support incidents, problems and requests. Also responsible for ticket management and escalation, explaining the solutions in technical and nontechnical terms.

Technical skills / experience required:

  • Previous experience within a Deskside support role
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Able to identify, log and resolve technical problems with software, hardware and network systems
  • Comfortable providing remote support when needed
  • Exposure to ticket management and response
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

This is an immediate Deskside Support Engineer requirement with interview slots available this / early next week.
